Rare Red 50s Leather Clutch Bag

 

This gorgeous vintage bag is the perfect accessory for that 'special' night out ......

A rare and unusual bag it has lots of visual details that catch the eye including soft 'pleats' and a beautiful shape.

The bag has one compartment inside with 3 'open' pockets.  It is lined with deep red grossgrain and come complete with the original matching purse.

The bag closes with an elaborate and ornate clasp and is carried with the hand tab on the back.

The bag is in good, clean condition with surface marks as would be expected on a used vintage bag. (Please look at the photos carefully!) A small area of repair on the inside of the flap - this does not in any way affect the use (or desirability) of this lovely bag. The clasp is tarnished as would be expected but functions perfectly. A very rare and lovely bag.
